Epicure Gourmet Market opened in 1945 as a Prime meat butcher shop in Miami Beach. Owned by the Thal Brothers, the store grew into one of the finest gourmet markets in South Florida with an on-site bakery, award-winning cheese department, sommelier-curated wine cellar, hand-selected grocery items from around the world, and an executive chef to create prepared delicacies each day at our one-of-a-kind deli counter. In 1998, ownership changed hands to the Starkman family, also owners of Jerry’s Deli. A second Epicure Market opened in Sunny Isles in 2008, with the addition of a full-service restaurant. Coral Gables, our latest location, continues the delicious tradition with 24,000 square feet of gourmet groceries and a dedicated restaurant, with an outdoor patio and coffee and juice bar.

I work with my vendors directly. We only serve the best: The best cheese, caviar, wine, seafood and baked goods. We sell prime meat and premium cuts.” — Jason Starkman, Owner
